Standard Straight-Through Ethernet Cable

When crimping the RJ45 connectors for a standard straight Ethernet cable, both ends are typically aligned in a T-568B pin out pattern

Ending Termination 1 :

  1. White Orange
  2. Orange
  3. White Green
  4. Blue
  5. White Blue
  6. Green
  7. White Brown
  8. Brown

Ending Termination 2 :

  1. White Orange
  2. Orange
  3. White Green
  4. Blue
  5. White Blue
  6. Green
  7. White Brown
  8. Brown

Crossover Cable

Ending Termination 1 :

  1. White Orange
  2. Orange
  3. White Green
  4. Blue
  5. White Blue
  6. Green
  7. White Brown
  8. Brown

Ending Termination 2:

  1. White Green
  2. Green
  3. White Orange
  4. Blue
  5. White Blue
  6. Orange
  7. White Brown
  8. Brown

*** Notes for Performing the Crimp

Use crimper tool to strip 1/2″ down the cable.

Line individual wires up in the aforementioned patterns.

If the RJ45 connector indluces a wire management load bar slide the individual wires through the wire management load bar in the correct order and use the crimper to cut the wires evenly across the tip. Slide the load bar down a few millimeters and then slide the entire load bar into the RJ45 Head. Crimp down.
